What are Medical Spa Policies?
We ask that you consider our policies not as restrictions but as indispensable rules, which allow us to provide high standards of service. With regard to appointment cancellation fees, these are unfortunately necessary due to unavoidable expenses and valuable time allocated to clients and patients when they make the appointments.
How do I make an appointment?
To make an appointment, please contact us directly by calling 361-576-9100, or emailing your request to info@fountainmedicalspa.com, or filling out the contact us form on our website. Upon scheduling your appointment, patients will be asked to use a credit card to guarantee the appointment. You will not be charged a fee for your appointment. A $100 fee will only be applied to your credit card should you cancel within less than 24 hours or fail to show up for your appointment.
We also recommend that you schedule future appointments in advance to ensure your preferred time is available as nights and Saturdays are the most requested times.
All booked appointments will be confirmed by our staff via a telephone call reminder, a message texting to your cell phone, or email a day or two before your appointment. Please provide us with a valid email address, and your cell phone. Scheduling an appointment is your acceptance of these policies.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to prepare for your treatment. As we are a medical spa, we require new patients to fill out brief medical history information and consent form.
If you are scheduled for dermal fillers, laser treatments or special peels we recommend you arriving 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so that we can properly prepare your skin for the treatment.
Is there anything I should do prior to my appointment?
We ask that Laser Hair Removal patients come shaved before a treatment. It is recommended to shave the day before your appointment.
We also suggest that all patients receiving any of our facial treatments and consultation to arrive without make up if possible.
What if I am late for my appointment?
Our scheduling is designed to permit the correct amount of time to complete your service. A late arrival will deprive you of precious treatment time. In fairness to others, your treatment must end on time so the next patient’s session can begin on time. If you are not able to be on time we will do our best to complete as much of your treatment as possible. With some treatments, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment.
What is the cancellation policy?
Because we provide concierge medical spa and wellness services, we take pride in spending quality time with our patients to take care of their needs. Each appointment takes away available block of time on our schedules. Therefore, we are less able to accommodate other patients. We have a waiting list for appointments. We ask our patients to be considerate and respectful of our schedules. In 2021 we will ask for a credit card to hold his or her appointment.
Cancelation less than 24 hour and no show will be charged $100 automatically on the credit card. This non refundable fee will be charged before appointment can be rebooked.
This fee is waived only if you show a doctor’s excuse or a positive covid-19 test on the same day of your appointment cancelation on our schedule.
What type of Payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express, discover. Also cash and Checks (with ID) are accepted.

Can I finance my treatments?
Yes, financing is available through CareCredit – a company that provides financing specifically for healthcare services. To fill out an application go to www.carecredit.com
Do you offer Gift Cards?
What a special way to show how much you care, or a wonderful way to show your appreciation. Giving a gift card is simple and since you choose the denomination, they are right for any budget.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
Can I recommend a Friend?
Referrals are greatly appreciated and are the highest compliment you can give us at Fountain of Youth Medical Spa. For every referral that purchases a treatment, you will receive a $50 gift card to our medspa to be used towards any service of your choice.
